DAY ET Launches AW26: Unexpected Combinations

DAY ET Launches AW26: Unexpected Combinations DAY ET introduces its Fall Winter 2026 collection, Unexpected Combinations, a tribute to color, structure, and the joy of creating. The season draws inspiration from Sonia Delaunay’s bold approach to form, translated into deep reds, earthy browns, and the crisp clarity of cold blue. Functional yet feminine silhouettes define the collection, designed for everyday life. Soft shapes meet sharp stripes, while cotton styles feature patchwork influenced by Delaunay. Cultural codes blend throughout, mixing the formal with the non‑formal. Highlights include the Trunk suitcase in deep brown and classic suitcases in cold blue, creating a clean contrast that ties the season together. These tones continue across DAY ET’s signature nylon styles. Founded in Copenhagen in 2018, DAY ET continues to elevate everyday life for people on the move, combining Scandinavian design with playful detail across bags, suitcases, travel accessories, and jewelry boxes. image courtesy DAY ET

BIBBI Launches New Fragrance: Vanilla Factory

BIBBI Launches New Fragrance: Vanilla Factory BIBBI introduces Vanilla Factory, a fragrance that pulls vanilla from its familiar sweetness and into something darker, warmer and more modern. Rather than comfort, this version of vanilla feels grown-up and unexpected. Where many vanillas lean sugary, Vanilla Factory leans feral warmth. It opens with bergamot, pink pepper and nutmeg, offering a clean warmth and subtle edge. At its center, black tea and saffron deepened the composition, softened by a soft peony note that adds restraint rather than romance. The base unfolds with patchouli, papyrus and black amber, settling into a roasted, resinous vanilla that remains smooth and dry, never sickening. “Vanilla has always been nostalgic for me” says Stina “BIBBI” Seger, founder of BIBBI. “With this fragrance, I wanted to explore its more mature side, something with depth and a bit of a misery. I’m not a child anymore. Like every fragrance from BIBBI, it needed to surprise, to feel a little mystical. This is vanilla through our lens: seductive, deliciously dark, and alive with tension.” Vanilla Factory is available at COW perfumery and bibbi-parfum.com in 2ml, 30ml and 100ml formats. image courtesy BIBBI

Chanel Haute Couture Spring Summer 2026

Chanel Haute Couture Spring Summer 2026 A moment, held briefly “I saw the beauty at once. Then gone, flown away.” The anonymous haiku that opens Chanel’s Spring Summer 2026 Haute Couture collection feels less like an introduction and more like a quiet instruction: pay attention, this will not last. Haute Couture has always been the soul of Chanel. Not simply as an exercise in craftsmanship, but as a deeply personal exchange between the House and the woman who wears its creations. Clothes here are not finished when they leave the atelier; they are completed by the life that inhabits them. As Matthieu Blazy reminds us, it is the wearer who gives couture its true story. With his debut Haute Couture collection for the house, Blazy does not attempt to redefine Chanel. Instead, he returns to its core, carefully stripping it back to its essence. What remains is something both intimate and expansive: the body, the soul, and the quiet power of self-expression. The collection opens almost like a memory. The Chanel suit appears in transparent silk mousseline, softly constructed, tender in tone. It feels less worn than remembered. Embedded within it are small emotional artefacts: a love letter, a bottle of N°5, a trace of red lipstick. Some are stitched into interiors, others hidden in pockets or suspended from the signature chain. The inside life of the garment gently reveals itself to the outside world. This exposure of intimacy is not literal but poetic. A palimpsest of personal history, layered with the House’s own. Haute Couture here becomes both garment and confession, an embroidered love letter to craft, construction, and memory. As the show unfolds, a transformation begins. Almost imperceptibly at first, the women evolve into birds. Not costumes, not disguises, but embodiments. Feathers emerge through pleating, embroidery, weaving, and layering. Rarely used outright, they are instead evoked through the mastery of the flou and tailleur ateliers, and through the exceptional artisans of le19M. From deep raven-black silhouettes that showcase the precision of tailoring, to intricate compositions of colour that recall plumage in motion, the birds take many forms. Familiar and exotic coexist: the humble pigeon alongside the pink spoonbill, the linear heron beside the crested cockatoo. Each is singular, each free. They gather briefly in an imagined landscape of towering mushrooms and an enchanted willow wood, then disperse. Like birds do. Like moments do. Here, birds are neither symbols nor metaphors alone. They are simply themselves. As is Haute Couture at its most honest: grounded in archetype, suspended in dream. For a fleeting instant, it asks us to pause. And then, just as quietly, it is gone. Flown away.

By Night: & Other Stories Reimagines Partywear for the Modern Moment

By Night: & Other Stories Reimagines Partywear for the Modern Moment text Ulrika Lindqvist Images courtesy of & Other Stories As the days grow shorter and the nights stretch longer, & Other Stories unveils By Night, a November collection that captures the shifting moods of the season. With a confident ease that moves seamlessly from day to dusk, the line reinvents eveningwear through a modern, expressive lens. “It’s partywear reimagined for today,” says Jonathan Saunders, Chief Creative Officer. “Feminine fabrics and expressive textures are rendered into modern 1990s silhouettes, carrying the attitude of mixing casualwear with eveningwear and creating a sense of charismatic eccentricity.” True to that sentiment, the collection thrives on contrasts: matte meets shine, leather clashes beautifully with lace, velvet softens against satin. Assertive outerwear grounds the look, while masculine and feminine codes intertwine, with sharp tailoring balanced by fluid ease. The colour palette is both grounded and illuminated. Everyday neutrals such as black, brown, grey, and cream serve as a canvas for champagne and bronze accents. Rich tones of red, burgundy, and deep purple add timeless depth, while a hint of leopard print punctuates the story. Silhouettes range from the sculptural to the effortless. Micro-minis and sweeping lengths coexist, voluminous sleeves meet precise tailoring, and elongated biker jackets redefine modern outerwear. Luxurious fabrics including silk, leather, lace, satin, and velvet play with texture and tactility, while sequins, faux fur, and soft knits in cashmere and mohair add dimension. Accessories complete the narrative with purpose. Knee-high boots and satin slingback pumps pair with lattice-woven bags and classic silhouettes reimagined. Knitted details in cashmere and wool offer the final touch, refined yet unmistakably personal. By Night is  available in selected stores and online at stories.com.

Ströms Woman – A New Luxury Destination for the Modern Woman

Ströms Woman – A New Luxury Destination for the Modern Woman Photo: Jesper Florbrant Ströms Man & Woman is embarking on a new chapter with the launch of Ströms Woman, an expanded space exclusively dedicated to women, on the upper floor of its iconic store at Kungsgatan and Sveavägen. A long-standing fixture in Stockholm’s Centrumhuset since 1939, Ströms is increasing its women’s fashion floor area by over 50%. The renovation of the upper level in this landmark building has created a distinctive and inviting destination for women’s style in the city. CEO Torbjörn Rusck noted that the expansion was inspired by a desire to offer customers in Stockholm an “elevated shopping experience, one that combines a warm and welcoming atmosphere with a premium, international touch”. He emphasises that the new space “builds on our 120-year heritage of quality and service, while introducing a modern expression tailored for today’s women.” The store’s design highlights quality and craftsmanship, with every item and piece of furniture custom-made for Ströms. All furnishings are handmade in Sweden, underscoring a strong commitment to authenticity and attention to detail. Art plays a central role in the store’s interior design, including Lukas Göthman’s painting “I Like Your Fire”, which invites visitors to form their own reflections and interpretations. Rusck summarised the overall feeling by saying: “We want to create a place that feels curated and effortless”, adding that “every detail in the interior is chosen to reflect the same care we show our customers.” Ströms Woman is designed to be a complete destination for the modern woman. It offers a complete wardrobe, from everyday and business to party attire. The assortment combines Swedish and international design brands such as Marni, Tory Burch, Boss, by Malene Birger, Malina and MaxMara, along with their own collection, Ströms Woman. Photo: Jesper Florbrant Rusck describes the modern Ströms Woman customer as a “businesswoman in her best years, confident in her style, whether she’s at work, out in the evening, or dressed casually”. He added that the store is designed to be a “three-generation store,” believing that the right products can connect with women across generations. The new floor features a “city living room” on the entresol level, offering a quiet contrast to the busy intersection outside. This space includes lounge groups and an exclusive Chambre Séparée, hidden behind a sliding door, which offers undisturbed personal styling. On enhancing the shopping experience, Rusck said: “We want our customers to feel relaxed, and it’s just as important that their friends or partners feel comfortable too. A personal shopping experience takes time, and selecting pieces to enhance a wardrobe should feel inspiring and enjoyable. Our goal is for the experience to be as rewarding for the customer as it is pleasant for her company.”
