H&M Beauty Expands with Flagship Stores in Stockholm On September 12, 2024, H&M Beauty celebrated the grand opening of its first flagship store in Westfield Mall of Scandinavia, located adjacent to the existing H&M store with a separate entrance. Later this autumn, another flagship store will open at Drottninggatan 56 in central Stockholm, marking a pivotal moment in H&M Beauty’s journey to becoming the most fashionable beauty destination in the world. These new stores offer a seamless shopping experience by combining H&M’s fashion with an extensive beauty range. The flagship stores feature over 80 global and Scandinavian beauty brands, alongside H&M Beauty’s updated in-house makeup line and newly launched fragrance collection. The Westfield store covers 220 square meters, while the Drottninggatan store will span 620 square meters. In conjunction with the openings, H&M Beauty is expanding its product offerings by introducing over 20 new brands in makeup, skincare, and haircare. Some of the standout additions include MAC Cosmetics, e.l.f beauty, KYLIE Cosmetics, Anastasia Beverly Hills, and K-beauty favorites. Exclusive to H&M Beauty at Westfield, e.l.f beauty products are available in-store only from September 12 to 25, 2024. As part of the launch festivities, the first 600 customers at both stores will receive a special gift. H&M Beauty is not just creating stores but also building a beauty universe that seamlessly integrates fashion and beauty, both in-store and online.

The Götgatan store, which opened on the 12th of September, is the third of its kind, following similar concept stores in Soho, New York, and Chelsea, London. This new approach adapts stores to their local surroundings, reflecting the dynamic energy of Södermalm. Notably, it is the first H&M store in Sweden to feature a “Pre-loved” second-hand collection. “We want to showcase the best of H&M this fall, not only with our new collection but also by elevating the shopping experience both online and in our new stores. A.P.C. Opens New Store in SOFO, Stockholm

A.P.C. Opens New Store in SOFO, Stockholm Parisian brand A.P.C. is opening its second Swedish store within a year of its first in the heart of Sofo, Stockholm’s trendy  southern district. Just like the first store, which opened this spring, A.P.C. plays on the similarities between the Parisian  brand’s creative universe and the characteristics of Scandinavian design.   Together with his wife Judith Touitou, Jean and A.P.C. have embodied the lack of extravagance and excess that has char acterised A.P.C. clothing since the company was founded in 1987. The chic, easy-to-wear clothes – in timeless styles and  made from high-quality materials – focus on the essentials for men and women. Laurent Deroo Architecte, who has been working with A.P.C. for more than 15 years and has designed more than  50 stores worldwide, has created a series of spaces for the new Sofo store, creating a dialogue between two display units  in a bright, high-ceilinged room. In the Nytorget store, solid Douglas pine and okoumé plywood furniture decorated with  coloured resin panels showcase men’s and women’s accessories, while a metal structure suspended from the ceiling with  honeycomb panels supports hanging pieces. A distinctive central stone table with contrasting veining and a warm niche like space with okoumé plywood panels for the lifestyle area and fitting room add to the store’s unique aesthetic. This spring, A.P.C. opened its first Swedish boutique on Jakobsbergsgatan in the heart of Stockholm, in a recently  renovated historic pink granite building. The high ceilings, reinforced by vertical steel columns, place the A.P.C. men’s  and women’s collections at the center of the project, designed by Laurent Deroo Architecte, thanks to a hanging device  reminiscent of the structure on which the spotlights hang at concerts. These limited-edition pieces include a shirt and three trousers, each featuring the Piirto Unikko—a modern, streamlined interpretation of Maija Isola’s iconic Unikko pattern, which marks its 60th anniversary this year.
