Layering With N.C.P Olfactives Fragrances

Layering With N.C.P Olfactives Fragrances 11:27 AM Friday, September 15, 2023 N.C.P is a modern perfume and skin care brand developed not just regardless of sex, gender or age butalso to make it possible for you create your own unique perfume combination or skin routine. The fragrances are developed to match who you are today depending on how you feel, where you aregoing and who you want to be. To create your own signature fragrance, you use the layering technique. The layering technique was originally developed in the Middle East and is about combining severalperfumes at the same time. To layer you simply spray a few different scents on to the same skin area, without letting it dry in between, and wait for it to blend. There doesn’t seem to be any wrongs or rightswhen layering, its just to play and try out whatever works for you. But it is however recommended tostart with two or three scent’s at the same time if you are a beginner. Every perfume is perfectlybalanced to stand alone or to be layered on top of each other or added to spice up any old perfume youalready have at home.I am usually drawn to perfumes with leather and woody notes with a hint of masculinity. But I also lovethe scent of clementine’s and violets. There are plenty of choices to match my preferences in discoveryboxes. And it’s no surprise that I absolutely love the N.C.P signature fragrance 701 Leather and Vetvierfrom the Seven Facets box which I often wear just by itself. I was also thrilled to find the 101 Clementineand Violet flower scent in the same box and the 705 Leather and Oud from the Gold Facets box. To layerI often add one of the Sandalwood or musk scent’s as a complement. The 501 Iris and Vanilla scent givesa fresh flowery contribution and is not at all as sweet as vanilla perfumes from other brands tend to be.Another favorite is the 703 Tonka Bean and Moka from the Black Facets box if I what to add a bit ofsweetness to my composition. All the perfumes consist of quite few ingredients and are all build on twocombined scents. Some of them were new to me and I had look them up while others are known butnew in the sense of perfumes, as for example 201 Apple and Driftwood which also is very nice. The smalldiscovery boxes gives you number of combination for reasonable price. I would say that the discoveryboxes have given me several new discovery’s of what I like to wear on top of the scents I already knew Iwas going to love. The N.C.P Seven Facets is the ultimate collection box if you want to start layering and contains theseven launch fragrances which represent all the olfactive families Citrus, Fruity, Floral, Fougere, Chypre,Woody and Oriental. There are also several discovery kits available to make the layering even moreexciting. All of them are unisex and vegan. All fragrances can also be found in 50 ml eau de parfum, 10 ml eau de parfum and 5 ml Roll On ampule. The product design in stripes of black and white is a guidance system to illustrate the character of thescent in which olfactive family it belongs. Where the whiter with few black stripes signalizes a lighterscent (citrus) and blacker with few white stripes is a heavier darker scent (oriental). Written byJenny Lunberg

MONCLER X PHARRELL WILLIAMS

MONCLER X PHARRELL WILLIAMS 7:00 PM Thursday, September 21, 2023 Built on a shared foundation of community and lust for life, and fuelled by an avant-gardist energy, Moncler x Pharrell Williams has manifested a city-ready collection made for adventure and primed for the outdoors. Pharrell first joined the Moncler family in 2009 and this moment marks the next evolution in the friendship, powered by the Moncler Genius platform for co-creation. The collection revolves around the idea of glamping: family camping, but with an emphasis on refinement, craftsmanship and expertise. The clothes are meant for outdoor experiences and metropolitan adventures alike. The fluidity of natural forms versus the geometry of architecture influences the overall aesthetic: down padding has a curvilinear expression on one jacket, or pyramid points on another. This being Pharrell, the vest is a central piece, interpreted in three-dimensional diamond quilting and meant to be layered. The Moncler x Pharrell Williams collection will be available in select Moncler boutiques and moncler.com from September 22nd, 2023.

Carling Dalenson – Vera Lutter “When Stones Were Blooming”

Carling Dalenson – Vera Lutter “When Stones Were Blooming” 10:15 AM Friday, September 22, 2023 Carling Dalenson is thrilled to present “When Stones Were Blooming,” the debut exhibition featuring the works of renowned German artist and photographer, Vera Lutter. In this captivating showcase, Lutter takes us on a journey through ancient European sites, delving into the rich history of aged artifacts. Her exploration began at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in 2012, where she meticulously photographed fragmented sculptures from ancient Greek and Roman art. Moving from smaller objects to monumental architectural sites of ancient significance, Lutter’s quest centers on understanding why certain forms were chosen and the profound cultural and spiritual meanings embedded in those choices. Through her lens, she invites us to ponder what these artworks meant to the people of those times and how their minds were shaped by these visual and physical experiences. While the immediacy of the past eludes us, Lutter’s work captures the enduring wonder that informs her ongoing exploration of history through photography.

Olivia Pettersson Fleur, Atomic Snapshot

Olivia Pettersson Fleur, Atomic Snapshot 1:11 PM Monday, September 25, 2023 Introducing Olivia Pettersson Fleur’s second solo exhibition, “Atomic Snapshot.” Her artistry involves painting on paper, where brush strokes create captivating color gradients. These gradients are shredded into pieces and reassembled with a subtle shift, often featuring circular elements. Inspired by scientific concepts and influenced by Emanuel Swedenborg’s theories, Pettersson Fleur explores the abstract nature of energy and frequency. In “Atomic Snapshot,” vibrant lines contrast with clusters of circular shapes, creating intricate, vibrating structures on the canvas. Her work delves into quantum mechanics, where the wave-particle duality theory blurs boundaries between particles and waves. Olivia Pettersson Fleur’s art invites us to contemplate these elusive possibilities, connecting spirit with matter. A graduate of the Royal Institute of Art, Stockholm, and the Umeå Academy of Fine Arts, she has exhibited internationally and received prestigious awards and grants. Her art is featured in notable collections, including Public Art Agency Sweden and Region Stockholm.

Lovisa Ringborg, The Living Room

Lovisa Ringborg, The Living Room 11:04 AM Monday, September 25, 2023 Announcing Lovisa Ringborg’s latest exhibition, “The Living Room,” at Cecilia Hillström Gallery. This captivating project blends photography and sculpture, featuring an interior theme with reddish-pink tones that unify the works. Through a unique interplay of daylight and infrared light in her photography, Ringborg captures both visible light and the presence of heat. Unlike her past nature-focused pieces, this exhibition explores the interior of an unadorned room. Small details within the room, such as an unmade bed, draped textiles, and warm, glowing lights, hint at life. However, as you delve deeper into each image, the room transforms from a safe space into a claustrophobic environment. The sculptural work showcases a sleeping boy on a bed, created with terracotta hues that resemble flesh. The sheets on the bed symbolize the shedding of skin, representing change and metamorphosis. This theme of transformation also appears in wooden sculptures of two pairs of hands, where one pair morphs into sharp claws upon closer inspection. Smaller still-life pieces complement the larger photographs, offering subtle hints of memory. Pressed dried flowers and bottles filled with warm water at various temperatures provide discreet references to the room and its history, resembling fragments of a memory. One photograph brings nature into the exhibition, portraying an untamed landscape with lupine flowers by the roadside. It evokes a hazy memory of a summer night, simultaneously inviting and nostalgic, yet also eerie and ghostly. Throughout Lovisa Ringborg’s work, a consistent tension prevails. Whether depicting an altered reality, a dreamlike state, or the depths of one’s subconscious, Ringborg’s art invites viewers to explore themes of seduction, tenderness, and the uncanny, all with an elusive quality that’s both intriguing and challenging.Ringborg, an MFA graduate from the School of Photography at Gothenburg University, has exhibited her works internationally and received numerous awards and scholarships. Her art is featured in prominent collections worldwide, including Moderna Museet, Hasselblad Foundation, and more.
