K:18 VIN Opens in Stockholm - a Pop-Up for Systembolaget's Order Range

K:18 VIN opens at Kungsgatan 18 in central Stockholm on 6 November, running for nine days until 14 November. The pop-up, created by co:lab, is built around a specific problem: Systembolaget’s beställningssortiment, its order range, separate from what sits on the shelves, is Sweden’s largest wine selection, but most people have never tasted anything from it before placing an order. K:18 VIN offers a space to do exactly that. “It’s Sweden’s largest wine assortment, and yet incredibly few people even know it exists. Even fewer have tasted anything from it before they buy,” says Tilde Björnstad, Project & Marketing Coordinator, co:lab.

Visitors move freely between tables and taste wines in their own time, with sommeliers on hand to speak to origins, producers, and vintages. All wines sampled can be ordered on the spot via QR code. A wine bar within the space is open to those who want to stay on after their tasting slot. The ambition, Björnstad says, is for K:18 VIN to become a recurring concept, a regular opportunity to show as much of the order range as the space allows. A wine pass costs 200 SEK and includes entry and three wines with sommelier guidance across a one-hour time slot. Additional passes can be purchased on the day. Tickets are available via co:lab’s website. K:18 VIN is open to visitors aged 20 and over.
