Game. Set. Sip: Oatly Serves up Stockholm Open’s New Signature Drink

Swedish tennis history meets a new flavour at this year’s Bybit Stockholm Open. Oatly is introducing King’s Serve, a sparkling signature drink inspired by King Gustaf V and his habit of enjoying tea and barley water after a match.

The former Swedish monarch was a devoted tennis player, and his post-match refreshment provided an unexpected starting point for the drink. Oatly has reimagined the traditional combination with a sparkling twist, creating King’s Serve exclusively for the tournament.

From 7–14 November 2026, visitors will be able to try King’s Serve at a dedicated Oatly bar inside the arena. Alongside the signature drink, the bar will serve oat-based matcha and chocolate drinks, offering spectators, players and guests a place to stop between matches.

Whether stopping by for the tennis or exploring what’s on offer around the arena, visitors will have the chance to sample a small piece of Swedish tennis history, reinterpreted for today.

“We loved the story of Gustaf V drinking tea and barley water after playing tennis. It gave us an excellent starting point for creating something that felt connected to Stockholm Open while being unmistakably Oatly,” says Rowena Roos, Oatly Head of FADE.

For the organisers, the collaboration adds another element to the experience beyond the court. “Stockholm Open is about great tennis and great experiences, and Oatly brings something new and unexpected to that mix,” says Rasmus Hult, CEO of Bybit Stockholm Open.
