Music, style, and a slightly unpredictable microwave meet in the next chapter of Zalando’s culture-led platform.

Zalando is bringing The Corner back to Way Out West, and this time in collaboration with Universal Music Nordic. Blending fashion, music, and the personalities shaping Sweden’s creative scene, the partnership moves from a new digital series to a live festival experience in Gothenburg, taking place between Thursday 13th of August and Saturday 15th of August.

Hosted by Swedish artist Daniela Rathana, the two-part series introduces candid encounters with rising talents Killen and Jalda. Conversations move between musical influences, personal style, creative pressure, and what happens before an artist steps into the spotlight. The conversations unfold through quick-fire questions and unexpected prompts, before each artist receives a personal invitation to experience The Corner live at Way Out West.

At Way Out West, that invitation becomes a physical space. Returning for its second year, The Corner will host live conversations, performances, surprise DJ sets, retro gaming, and more. Festival visitors can expect an exclusive performance from Jalda, alongside appearances from Killen and Daniela Rathana.

For Zalando and Universal Music Nordic, the collaboration taps into the natural connection between fashion and sound, not simply as trends but as ways to shape identity and strengthen community.

Three artists, two episodes, and one festival destination: explore The Corner and meet the voices behind the campaign.
