The first chapter, a character study of Amelia Gray, revisits the origin story of Mojave Ghost, embodying the innate strength of the ghost flower, Mohavea confertiflora. It opens with the sweetness of fresh Jamaican Nesberry, unfolds to reveal sensual Sandalwood at the heart, and rounds out with warming Musk, crisp Amber, and Cedarwood at the base, leaving the raw spirit of the desert to linger on the skin. A brand new costume and new concept awaits for NOFO’s wine bar when Linnea teams up with her close friend Matilda Sandell, who becomes the new restaurant manager at NOFO Wine Bar. Together, they will form a wine bar that should rather feel like you lokal winery. At NOFO Wine Bar, a large selection of wines by the glass is offered with a well-sorted and lively wine list where the entire staff has been allowed to tab in with their own favourites. It will be a mixture of both well-known classics and modern natural wines from all over the world. Exclusive bottles from the wine cellar will also be enjoyed by the glass with coravin and there will also be magnum bottles for larger groups. Linnea and Matilda are both food lovers and together with head chef Anabel Parra Ortiz, they have composed a menu with food that they themselves love to pair the wine with. The focus is mainly on smaller dishes such as charcoal-grilled squid and scallops, but there will also be interspersed with larger dishes such as whole grilled chicken with side dishes. Balenciaga Music | Angelo Badalamenti Series 11:12 AM Monday, March 18, 2024 February 20th, 2024 marks the official launch of a multi-faceted collaboration between Balenciaga and the late award-winning American composer and arranger Angelo Badalamenti (March 22nd, 1937–December 11th, 2022). The project began in May 2020, before Badalamenti’s passing, and is being released as a tribute in his honor in partnership with his alma-mater, Manhattan School of Music, and his daughter, Danielle Badalamenti. As part of the Balenciaga Music Series, an original playlist curated by Badalamenti featuring his works will be available on balenciaga.com/angelobadalamenti. Limited-edition Balenciaga Music | Angelo Badalamenti merchandise, including T-shirts and sweatshirts with graphics from Badalamenti’s “Torch Theme,” will be in selected stores and online. The campaign was shot in New York at the Manhattan School of Music, involving students and Badalamenti’s family. A partnership with Manhattan School of Music and Dr. Reiko Fueting, head of the composition department, will be announced. It includes a master class sponsored by Balenciaga where students can create works inspired by Badalamenti’s legacy. The masterclass is free for current Manhattan School of Music students. Badalamenti, renowned for film scores and pop collaborations, received his degrees from Manhattan School of Music in the 1950s. He collaborated closely with director David Lynch, notably on the film Blue Velvet in 1986, and won a Grammy for Best Pop Instrumental Performance for the Twin Peaks theme.
