DeMellier ICONS 26: Five Women, Five Signatures, One Shared Vision

DeMellier ICONS 26: Five Women, Five Signatures, One Shared Vision

Celebrating individuality, modern femininity and purposeful design, DeMellier’s latest capsule brings together five women whose distinctive perspectives shape their own interpretations of timeless accessories.

This autumn, DeMellier brings together Taylor Hill, Lena Mahfouf, Rebecca Donaldson, Grece Ghanem and Romee Strijd for ICONS 26, a limited edition capsule celebrating the women shaping fashion, culture and creativity on their own terms. Working closely with founder Mireia Llusia Lindh and DeMellier’s all female design team, each woman helped create her own interpretation of a signature silhouette. From initial mood boards and colour explorations to materials, finishes and final details, the collaborative process places personal expression at its heart, resulting in five designs that reflect the individuality of their creators.

Each collaborator brings a unique perspective to ICONS 26. American supermodel and entrepreneur Taylor Hill reimagines The Large Siena Bucket in burgundy croc effect, a design that reflects her appreciation for timeless style and everyday versatility.

French Algerian content creator, author and entrepreneur Lena Mahfouf, widely known as Lena Situations, brings her instinct for storytelling and authentic self expression to The New York in fern suede and smooth grain. Having expanded her creative world from social media into publishing, podcasts and entrepreneurship, Mahfouf approaches the collaboration with the same intention that defines her work. As she explains, “What I love about DeMellier is their values; they create timeless bags with a real attention to craftsmanship and detail. The New York felt like the perfect bag because it’s super chic and one I’ll keep for years.”

Scottish model and entrepreneur Rebecca Donaldson lends her signature minimalist aesthetic to The Stockholm Shoulder in dark sage fine grain. With a degree in International Fashion Branding and a commitment to charitable causes, including fundraising for Glasgow’s Children’s Hospital, Donaldson is drawn to the brand’s values as much as its design.

“I’ve admired DeMellier for a long time. Their commitment to female empowerment and giving back is a big part of why I wanted to partner with them on The Stockholm Shoulder. The style immediately stood out to me, I love that it makes a statement through the silhouette.”

For Lebanese born, Montreal based creator Grece Ghanem, the collection becomes an expression of individuality and the belief that personal style has no age. She reimagines The Midi Hudson in dark navy croc effect, bringing together contemporary elegance and everyday practicality.

Dutch supermodel and content creator Romee Strijd completes the five interpretations with The Stockholm in dark brown fine grain. Her perspective extends beyond fashion into wellbeing and motherhood, while her chosen silhouette reflects an appreciation for understated elegance and purposeful design.

Together, the five women demonstrate how a shared design philosophy can translate into distinctly personal expressions of style.

Beyond the individual designs, ICONS 26 reflects a philosophy that has informed DeMellier since its founding. Designed by women, for women, the brand places female empowerment at the centre of its identity, with every collection developed by its all female London design team. Its commitment to purposeful design extends through A Bag, A Life, the brand’s permanent initiative supporting lifesaving vaccines and medical treatments for children in need through SOS Children’s Villages. To date, the initiative has funded 2.5 million vaccines, reinforcing the belief that thoughtful craftsmanship can have an impact beyond the wardrobe. With ICONS 26, DeMellier celebrates a broader understanding of what it means to be an icon. Across different backgrounds and creative disciplines, these five women share the confidence to define their own paths, demonstrating that the most compelling personal style is rooted in authenticity, individuality and purpose.

Available since 8 October, the limited edition ICONS 26 capsule is sold exclusively at demellierlondon.com, with global shipping available.
