Awe Inspired Unveils Nocturne, a Gothic Celebration of Femininity

Starring model Vivian Wilson, the campaign unfolds across three chapters inspired by Inanna, Persephone and Medusa, exploring themes of power, rebirth and defiance.

Following the luminous enchantment of its summer collection, Spellbound, Nocturne embraces a darker, more cinematic aesthetic. Drawing on ancient legends and Victorian jewellery, the collection revisits mythological women as symbols of autonomy, transformation and feminine strength. Each chapter tells a different story. Sovereign celebrates Inanna, the Mesopotamian goddess of love and war, while Underworld explores Persephone’s descent and return as a symbol of rebirth. The final chapter, Gorgon, reclaims Medusa as an emblem of survival, protection and defiance. Victorian influences run throughout the collection, with serpents, mourning motifs and symbolic talismans lending the pieces a sense of history and intimacy. The theme extends into new functional adornments, including pill boxes, potion vials, watch keys and hair pins inspired by the Victorian chatelaine, blurring the line between jewellery and personal keepsakes. The collection also introduces new additions to Awe Inspired’s collector offerings, including the Multi Chain 3 Charm Collector Necklace and Hand Charm Collector Link Pendant, alongside new slider beads designed for personalisation and layering. For Wilson, who has appeared on the runways of Gucci and Alexander McQueen, Nocturne marks an expansive campaign role, with the model embodying all three mythological figures in a continuous exploration of identity and femininity.
