Havaianas Takes New Heights With a New Silhouette I CPHFW

Havaianas broke new ground at Copenhagen Fashion Week, unveiling the Havaianas Kitten Heel on Studio Constance’s SS27 runway. This debut materialised the ideal of ‘Taking New Heights’, reimagining the brand’s classic style with daring ingenuity.
The Kitten Heel also generated marked excitement beyond the runway, quickly becoming notable in Copenhagen. During the week, important creators, editors, and stylists welcomed the new design. Brazilian fashion star Livia Nunes was seen riding a Havaianas-branded bike with Kitten Heel pedals, showcasing the brand’s playful and expressive spirit and its connection to the city’s two-wheeled culture. Copenhagen offered a setting where design and culture could come together in new and original ways.

At Green Island in Copenhagen Harbour, Havaianas held a launch event for creators, journalists, and fashion experts inspired by the idea of ‘From Sea Level to New Heights’. The event included product, music, and content experiences. Guests explored exhibits, enjoyed Brazilian music, visited a content area, and took part in a floating customisation activation with Brazilian jewellery designer Alan Crocetti.

The Havaianas Kitten Heel was the focal point of the week’s main presentations. It offers a modern take on Havaianas’ classic toe-post design, with a special toe cap and a low, asymmetric oval-shaped heel. Available in black, off-white, and vibrant green, it keeps the brand’s well-known rubber insole.

Havaianas has built a very natural connection with Copenhagen Fashion Week over the past few seasons. The brand has been naturally accepted by the fashion community, and this felt like the right time to grow that connection. The Kitten Heel shows a new design direction for Havaianas while still keeping the ease, authenticity, and Brazilian spirit that have always defined the brand’, said Maria Fernanda Albuquerque, Global Vice President of Marketing at Havaianas.
