Kari Traa Launches AW26 Base Layer Collection

Kari Traa is redefining winter with the launch of its Autumn/Winter 2026 collection, built around one simple idea: Hot Girl Winter is a state of mind. Rather than focusing on appearance, the Norwegian performance brand celebrates the confidence, comfort and freedom that come from feeling warm enough to embrace every winter adventure.

At the heart of the collection is the return of Smekker, one of Kari Traa’s most iconic merino wool base layers. Crafted from 100% merino wool, the bestselling silhouette returns in fresh seasonal colourways while retaining its signature feminine fit and Scandinavian knit detailing.

New for AW26 is Ines, a lightweight base layer collection also made from 100% merino wool. Designed with a timeless Scandinavian aesthetic, the versatile pieces offer natural temperature regulation and are created to mix and match seamlessly across the wider collection.

The brand also expands its technical offering through its Female First Technology collections, Faith, Saga and Alma, each engineered specifically for women’s movement. From seamless merino construction and body-mapped ventilation to high-performance moisture management, the range is designed to support everything from cross-country skiing to winter running.

Following the success of previous seasons, artist Rachel Pohl returns with new colourways for the collaborative collection, while the beloved Rose line introduces a limited-edition Christmas Capsule featuring an exclusive holiday shade.
