Cavour AW26: ARV Celebrates Norwegian Heritage
Norwegian menswear brand Cavour has unveiled its Autumn/Winter 2026 collection, ARV, a homeward-looking meditation on heritage, craftsmanship and the passage of time.
The collection takes its name from the Norwegian word for “heritage,” and its creative foundations lie in the country’s Romantic tradition, specifically the works of celebrated artists Theodor Kittelsen, Adolph Tidemand and Hans Gude. Their depictions of Norway’s forests, mountains, seas and skies inform ARV’s understated palette of deep greens, weathered greys, earthy tones and blues.
Traditional tailoring anchors the collection, though it is approached through a distinctly contemporary lens. What unites the pieces, according to the brand, are the same principles that guided the artists’ work: material, patience and craftsmanship.
Shot entirely in Oslo, ARV is framed as a statement about continuity, about clothing made to be worn, kept and passed on, rather than discarded.
The collection features several notable pieces, including the Martingala Alpaca Coat in brown (£2,080), the Mod 2 Corduroy Suit in beige (£1,170), and the Mod 2 Houndstooth Jacket in navy (£830).
Cavour is an Oslo-based fashion house founded in 2014 by Richard and Sebastian Scharnke. Rooted in a passion for precision tailoring and timeless design, the brand creates premium menswear crafted from exceptional fabrics sourced from some of the world’s finest mills.
