Damson Madder and Clarks Originals Join Forces
Damson Madder is stepping into new territory with its first-ever footwear collaboration, joining forces with Clarks Originals for a playful reworking of two of the British brand’s most recognisable silhouettes.
For Autumn/Winter 2026, the London label brings its distinctive, irreverent aesthetic to the classic Wallabee and Nomad. The former arrives in bold pillar box red, offset by its signature crepe sole, hiking-inspired lacing and eyelets, tonal detailing and a new ‘Damson Girl’ motif at the heel, a playful nod to Clarks’ archival Trekman character. The second style takes the form of an open-back Mary Jane mule in a rich ‘chocolate plum’. Based on the Nomad, it is reimagined with a double strap and polished silver ‘D’ and ‘M’ buckles, giving the familiar silhouette a distinctly Damson Madder attitude. Details are deliberately playful throughout, from polka-dot footbeds to interchangeable Damson Madder fobs that can be mixed and matched across the shoes. The collaboration feels like a natural meeting point between two brands with a shared appreciation for recognisable design and a strong sense of identity. Damson Madder Creative Director Fontaine Anderson looked to Clarks’ extensive archive for inspiration, reinterpreting its signature codes through the London label’s distinctive lens.
“I spent a lot of time delving into Clarks’ extensive archive of over 200 years, and reimagined some of their signature motifs and design details through a Damson lens,” says Anderson.
The Damson Madder x Clarks Originals capsule is available now through Damson Madder and selected retailers globally.
