When Good Taste Meets Good Design

What happens when Swedish design meets an unexpected culinary inspiration? Svenska Ostklassiker and ateljé Lyktan have joined forces to reimagine the iconic Bumling pendant lamp in a playful, limited-edition collaboration that celebrates Swedish craftsmanship and tradition.
Originally designed by Anders Pehrson in 1968, the Bumling lamp has become a timeless symbol of Scandinavian design. Now, the classic silhouette takes on a new identity, dressed in a rich cheese-yellow shade and decorated with distinctive perforated patterns inspired by three beloved Swedish cheeses: Präst, Herrgård and Grevé.
Part of Svenska Ostklassiker’s Ostalgiska klassiker initiative, the collaboration brings together two familiar elements of Swedish culture, combining nostalgia, humour and craftsmanship in an unexpected way.
The limited-edition Bumling lamp launches on November 5 and is available exclusively at Brandstationen, both in-store and online at brandstationenstore.se.
