Inspired by childhood memories, family wardrobes and the people who shape our sense of style, GANNI’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection celebrates the joy of getting dressed and the personal stories woven into what we wear.

Before we find our own style, we often borrow it from the people closest to us. An older sibling’s jumper, a pair of shoes discovered in our mother’s wardrobe or a hand me down that stays with us long after we have outgrown it. For Spring/Summer 2027, GANNI returns to these formative moments with Just Like You, a collection that explores how our earliest influences shape the way we express ourselves. For Creative Director Ditte Reffstrup, clothing holds a particular kind of emotional significance. “When clothes hold meaning, they are like an unwritten diary. When you discover something belonging to your friends or family, it can take you back, in the same way music can transport you to a time and place in our past,” she explains.

That sense of nostalgia runs throughout the collection, where the experience of growing into and out of clothes becomes a starting point for playful proportions and unexpected combinations. Oversized jumpers appear borrowed from someone else’s wardrobe, while shrunken piqué polos and petite knits recall the feeling of wearing something almost outgrown. Structured tailoring meets voluminous babydoll dresses and exaggerated ruffles, creating a contrast between precision and youthful spontaneity. Layering is central to the collection’s styling. Shirts slip beneath knitwear, skirts are doubled up and sheer lace dresses are worn one over another. Belts bring definition to relaxed silhouettes, while knitwear tied around the waist or shoulders introduces an element of carefree imperfection. The result feels instinctive and personal, balancing the playful spirit of childhood with the effortless sensibility of Copenhagen style.

Colour and print further the collection’s expressive approach. Bold red sits alongside mint, lime and lavender, while oversized stripes and checks meet delicate florals, jacquard and snake print. A cropped baseball T shirt bearing the words Ask My Mum adds a lighthearted graphic touch, reinforcing the collection’s connection to family, memory and the familiar details that make personal style our own. Accessories continue to play with scale and character. Oversized hats bring an added sense of joy, while pointed pumps sit alongside Western inspired boots reimagined through a GANNI lens. Stitching, heart details and hardware appear across boots and belts, adding personality to each piece. The Very Bou completes the collection in both Mini and XXL iterations, extending the playful approach to proportion.

Bringing Just Like You into image and space is artist, photographer and longtime GANNI collaborator Ana Kraš. Photographed in Copenhagen, the season’s editorial takes on the intimate atmosphere of a family album, featuring sisters and friends of the house, Klara Kristin and Fransiska Paula Bramsen, alongside their mother. For the Spring/Summer 2027 presentation in Paris, Kraš creates a setting inspired by the fragments of home that hold our memories. Photographs are draped across a bed and pinned to refrigerators with magnets, while albums are spread along a long dining table. An oversized sofa upholstered in fabrics from the collection completes the scene, bringing the presentation into the familiar territory of domestic life and shared experiences. Reflecting on the collaboration, Reffstrup describes a collection that returns to the feelings that first made dressing up meaningful. “I love that clothes can carry memories with them. This collection feels very personal to me. There’s a freedom and joy to it that reminds me why I fell in love with dressing up. It feels like coming home. Ana Kraš knows GANNI so well, so bringing that world to life with her felt completely natural.”

With Just Like You, GANNI looks beyond clothing as a means of self expression to explore the memories, relationships and experiences that inform who we become. Through familiar silhouettes, playful layering and the intimate imagery of a family album, Spring/Summer 2027 celebrates the people we carry with us, long after we have grown into ourselves.
