Lynk & Co Expands With a New Club Space in Milan
Written by Yasmine MToday there are nine Lynk & Co clubs spaces around Europe, where members and explorers can learn more about the brand but also just hang out. This weekend the phenomenon is now being taken further - next stop – Milan.
It's time for Lynk & Co to open up in the fashion capital on one of their biggest markets, Milan.
The new openening is being created in collaboration with Gothenburg-based design studio New Order Arkitektur. Where a creative dreamland with everything from tarot rooms to candy store bathrooms has been created - to once again challenge the image of what a car showroom can be. Here you are served a place where members are welcomed to drink a coffee and network with other Lynk & Co members, participate in events and shop for products from carefully selected local brands.
Lynk & Co is not a typical car company, they focus more on art and culture in the city they are located in. And you rather walk in to a club space wanting some cool new design and art pieces, than borrow a car. Sure, they make a car, but the point is to make it easier for everyone to own and use a car. Regardless of whether you choose to buy, borrow or subscribe you should have the possibility to fly.
As the company has its roots in Gothenburg, they want to change an industry that is known for acting conservatively and slowly. The moment you step into the Milano club, you are surrounded by neon that winds around pillars and down walls. It's a club ready to stand out. You will recognize several details that have become characteristic of Lynk & Co's clubs such as in Barcelona or Berlin. Such as the yellow sofa, 3D printed armchairs and lighting from the Italian design company Seletti.
In a press release the CEO, Alain Visser states that “We have really been looking forward to opening the club in Milan… Milan is bubbling with ideas and with our club we want to create space not only to to change travel habits but also to be involved and influence people's lifestyles…''
Last but not least, sustainability is a creative engine for the range of products found in the club. In addition to lamps made from orange peels, you will also find unique recycled fashion brands thanks to a collaboration with Revibe. Check out the pictures below and see a glimps of the new openening.
The Lynk & Co club opens its doors at Corso Venezia 6 in Milan on November 26.
