Zalando has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting emerging designers by announcing the finalists for the third season of the Zalando Visionary Award.
The 2025 nominees are FEBEN, IAMISIGO, and Rave Revie the three designers will showcase their signature creations during Copenhagen Fashion Week AW25 in January, where the winner also will be selected and revealed.

The Zalando Visionary Award celebrates exceptional design, innovation, and social impact while aligning with Copenhagen Fashion Week’s sustainability requirements. By highlighting designers reshaping the fashion landscape, Zalando continues to drive positive change within the industry. With former winners such as Paolina Russo and Sinéad O'Dwyer, the award remains a beacon for bold, forward-thinking creativity.

A distinguished panel of industry experts, including Edward Buchanan, Emma Matell, Giuliano Calza, Herbert Hofmann, and Anne Pascual, will determine the winner. Each finalist has been recognised for their innovative approach to redefining fashion:

FEBEN: Based in London and founded by Ethiopian designer Feben, this brand merges striking silhouettes with vibrant, optical illusion prints. Drawing on global influences, FEBEN challenges modern fashion norms with a distinctive, visionary perspective.

IAMISIGO: Founded in Nigeria by Bubu Ogisi, IAMISIGO blends textile heritage with traditional African craft techniques, delivering contemporary designs with bold and fresh perspectives. The brand bridges modern fashion with cultural preservation.

Rave Review: Hailing from Stockholm, founders Josephine Bergqvist and Livia Schück innovate with deadstock and secondhand materials, offering a fresh design outlook while championing diversity and sustainability in casting and production.

The winner, announced in January, will receive €50,000 alongside production support for their SS26 collection, which will debut at Copenhagen Fashion Week in August. Additional benefits include a tailored mentorship programme, curated industry resources, and exclusive opportunities, such as a masterclass led by Giuliano Calza, Founder of GCDS. Furthermore, Dio Kurazawa, founder of Bear Scouts, will mentor the winner throughout the year, providing insights and strategic guidance for long-term growth.
