Celebrated Napa Valley winery, Black Stallion Estate Winery, renowned for its rich, food-friendly wines, is bringing a taste of the American West Coast to Sweden with its latest release – the Black Stallion North Coast Cabernet Sauvignon. Hand-harvested from select vineyards across Northern California, including Napa Valley, Sonoma County, and Mendocino, this young wine has remarkable depth and character, reflecting the diversity and essence of the region.
Black Stallion North Coast Cabernet Sauvignon balances bright, wild berry notes from mountainous vineyards with the rich, mature fruit intensity characteristic of Napa’s heartland. With 40% aged in French oak, it features vibrant hints of raspberry, blackberry, plum, sage, and black olives, all wrapped in a toasted oak finish. The result is an elegant, layered wine with concentrated dark fruit, soft tannins, and a lingering, flavorful finish.
Available through Systembolaget’s order selection (Article No. 75990) from end of October, 2024, the Black Stallion North Coast Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 is priced at 249 SEK and has an alcohol content of 14.5%.
