Jewelry designer Maria Nilsdotter has launched her latest collection, The Queen’s Necklace, drawing inspiration from folklore and Renaissance artistry. The collection tells the story of Estella, a woman who traded her tears to a witch for the love of a king, only to face sorrow when her child fell ill, unable to cry. The spell was broken when the king recognized her pain. Nilsdotter's pieces capture the duality of love and loss, featuring intricate designs like garnet hearts encased in spikes and pearls held by claws. The collection highlights the contrast between strength and fragility, reflecting the timeless magic of love.
