Paris Is Louboutining - Spectacular Performance at Paris Fashion Week - Women's SS25

Written by Jahwanna Berglund

Christian Louboutin made waves during Paris Fashion Week for the Women's SS25 show.  With a mesmerizing artistic performance at the iconic Piscine Molitor, co-created with visionary director David LaChapelle and choreographer Blanca Li, the show celebrated the fusion of dance, fashion, and aquatic artistry. Featuring a performance by the French Olympic artistic swimming team, who made history by performing in heels, the event showcased the new Miss Z pump from Louboutin's SS25 collection.

Set against the backdrop of vibrant projections, synchronized swimmers, and a live performance by singer-songwriter LP, the show reimagined the glamour of 1950s Hollywood water ballets with a modern twist. Louboutin’s long-standing fascination with dance and water came to life in this larger-than-life spectacle, which will be immortalized in a film by LaChapelle, set to release on October 1st.

The event was a stunning blend of fashion, art, and athleticism, leaving the audience in awe of the breathtaking choreography and bold visual artistry. A show for the books so to say!
