Photoshoot for van Deurs, designer Susanne Beskow, at Stockholm City

What a night! I got home at 5 o’clock today this morning. I was working on the shoot of van Deurs, the brand of designer Susanne Beskow. We worked with the beautiful model Sara E from Nouveau Model Agency. The story was about one summer night in a young girls life. She was wandering the city streets searching for adventure and lust. She was elegant, decadent but still a part of nature. Our plan was to capture the sundown, the night and the sunrise, which we did. It was quite exiting working during the night since it’s not something I often do, it was different and a great experience. Although I must say that it’s nothing I would prefer, it’s weird getting home at 5 and then going directly to sleep while it’s bright daylight outside and the birds a singing in the trees outside my window.
The outfits consisted of everything from evening gowns to pleated boleros and corsets. The colors where black and white, but with some pieces in grey. You could truly tell that the shapes and the fabrics where the essence of Susanne’s collection and also that she has a delicate eye for details.
I must ad that Stockholm is a dramatic and alluring city during these ours.

On Sunday I have a photo shoot that is not intended for Odalisque Magazine. I’m working on a shoot with the designer van Deurs by designer Susanne Beskow. Van Deurs is known for their pleats and unexpected shapes, It will be a delight working on this project, I’m as usual the one responsible for the make up and hair. Not quite sure yet how the look will turn out, I heard something about smokey eyes.. Lovely :)
It’s a night shoot so I’ll be working from 6 o’clock until the sunrise! It’s a pleasure to be working such different ours, nothing ever gets boring like this :)
Now I’m of to share a bottle of wine with friends Adrian and Sophia at Djurgården.
